Annotate variants from file

The Annotate variants from file report builder allows users to annotate variants in a GOR report with information from another file in the gor/gorz format.

Example use case

A user has a list of variants and wishes to add annotation from a custom variant annotation file stored on the user’s local computer (or in the Sequence Miner). The Annotate variants from file report builder adds annotation information from the user’s variant annotation file to the variants in the list.

Description of the algorithm

This report builder joins variant annotation from a gor file to the corresponding variant in the input gorreport file.

Interpreting the output

The output table contains the original variant list with additional columns containing annotation from the variant annotation file selected by the user.

Column descriptions

All annotation columns are drawn from the input file (file_name).
